MATS 2019: What You Need To Know About The Biggest Truck Show Of The Year
Louisville, Kentucky – It’s that time again! The 2019 Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) kicks off on Thursday and runs through Saturday.
Show organizers expect as many as 80,000 people to attend this year as more than 1,000 exhibitors will fill the Kentucky Exposition Center.
Attendees can certainly expect a great time. From the Paul K. Young Truck Beauty competition to the rows and rows of chrome and accessories, truckers from around the country converge on MATS for a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
The schedule for this year’s show is:
- Thursday, March 28, 1-6 p.m.
- Friday, March 29, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Saturday, March 30, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao To Give Keynote
U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao will deliver the keynote address on Friday, March 29 at 1:00 p.m. in South Wing Lobby Room B101. Secretary Chao will be providing an update on the Department’s efforts on safety, infrastructure, truck parking, and reducing burdensome regulations on truck drivers.

Amid all of the fun and excitement of the giant 3-day trucking party, attendees also have an opportunity to take in some educational seminars.
This year, seminar topics include everything from how to start your own trucking company to better understanding assisted technologies for drivers.
