Henry County, Georgia – New video has emerged of the deadly 3-vehicle crash involving two big rigs last Thursday along I-75.

Local news outlet 11Alive obtained surveillance video from a nearby Ford dealership which clearly shows the moments leading up to the crash that took the lives of four people.

The tragic scene unfolded at approximately 12:15 p.m. along northbound I-75 at milepost 216.

The video confirms what investigators first reported.

A tractor-trailer fails to stop for slowing traffic and plows into the back of a Chevy pickup truck pulling a trailer of pine straw.

The big rig then pushes the pickup truck into the back of another tractor-trailer, which was directly in front and already slowed, causing the pickup to be crushed between the two rigs.

According to investigators, the collision sparked a fire which then engulfed the pickup and the at-fault tractor-trailer.

Images from the scene reveal what was left of the charred vehicles.

Four people perished along I-75 last week after a big rig failed to stop and plowed into the back of a pickup truck.

Police said four people were traveling inside the pickup truck and all four passed away in the crash.

Their identities have not yet been released, nor have the identities of the truckers involved.

Police have yet to indicate what might have contributed to the at-fault trucker’s failure to stop.

Transportation Nation Network will continue to monitor any new developments.
