Man Killed After Pinned By Big Rig At Loading Dock

Brooklyn, New York – A man was killed after being pinned by a tractor-trailer last Friday at an East Williamsburg loading dock.

According to police, 63-year-old Son Ngoc Nguyen, of Westminster, California, was fatally injured after a big rig pinned him between the trailer and the loading dock wall.

The accident happened at approximately 6:00 a.m. on May 17.

Investigators said a 46-year-old truck driver of a 2012 Freightliner was backing at Sun King Produce Corp., located at 398 Morgan Ave., when Nguyen became pinned.

Nguyen was taken to a nearby hospital where he died later that day, officials said.

No charges have been filed at this time, but authorities said their investigation is ongoing.
