‘GET THE HELL OUTTA THE ROAD!’… Angry Logger Goes Off On Forest Activist Protestors
Scotia, California – New video has emerged from the scene of a dangerous protest last week outside a logging company in California. In this new video taken by Rick Shreve and posted to YouTube, an angry truck driver is heard making his feelings known about the protestors by calling them ‘idiots’ and telling them to ‘get the hell outta the road!’ Forest conservationist groups protested the Humboldt Redwood Company by blocking big rigs loaded with logs from exiting Highway 101. The protestors, in a released statement, said Humboldt Redwood Company’s practices are threatening the forest and they want to see the discontinued use of ‘herbicides and logging.’ Until they do they say, they will not relent in their ‘forest defense campaign.’
The driver in this video eventually engages in a conversation with a few of the protestors. “We’re not against you! We’re just against your bosses,” the protestors can be heard yelling at the driver. “I don’t care,” the driver says. “What do you think you guys are accomplishing,” by blocking the road the driver asks. “You’re stupid! You ain’t got nothing better to do,” he shouted.
One trucker went so far as to ‘plow’ through a sign protestors were holding. It created quite a firestorm and the video of that incident has been watched thousands of times already on TransportationNation.com. You can watch it HERE!
