Rob Penner is the President & CEO for Bison Transport.

He began his career in the transportation industry in 1984 as a professional driver and joined Bison Transport in 1991, moving through all aspects of operations.  Rob was appointed Vice President of Operations in 1998 and promoted to his current role in January 2017.

Rob is actively involved in the transportation community, having served on the Board of Directors for both the Toronto Trucking Association and Ontario Trucking Association, the Trucking Profitability Strategies Advisory Board at the University of Georgia-Athens, as well as numerous other working committees and advisory boards.

Rob is involved with the Canadian Trucking Alliance, the American Trucking Association and also the immediate past Chairman for the Truckload Carriers Association.
