U.S. Xpress [Co-Founder, Chairman & Former CEO]

Max Fuller is widely respected as a “Titan of Trucking.”

The son of Clyde Fuller (CEO and owner of Southwest Motor Freight), Mr. Fuller grew up around trucking and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1975 with a B.A. degree in Finance and Business Administration. He most notably co-founded U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. in 1985 (alongside the late Pat Quinn) and served as its Chief Executive Officer between November 2004 and March 2017.

Today, U.S. Xpress is the one of the largest trucking companies in the world.

Mr. Fuller served as an Interim Chief Operating Officer of U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. from November 2002 to March 1, 2004 and served as its Secretary and Vice President since 1989 and Co-Chairman since 1994 and also serves as President of Xpress Global Systems, Inc.
He is well known in the community of Chattanooga, TN (where he resides with his wife). They are the proud parents of three children, including Eric Fuller, the new CEO of U.S. Xpress.
