Jeanie Ozment has been involved in trucking since buying her first truck at 19.

Along with being a trucker, she is also a certified transportation safety director. She married O.E. Leonard in 1987 and they grew a refrigerated trucking company to 9 owned tractors, 30 trailers and 15 leased Owner-Operators. After O.E.’s untimely death in 1993, Jeanie continued running Baseline Transport, Inc., until she married Dan Ozment in 2001. Shortly thereafter, Dan’s diabetes and congestive heart failure worsened and she closed Baseline Transport to care for him. Dan passed away in September of 2012.

Jeanie had one tractor and three trailers left and decided she should drive awhile and try to put a life back together for herself. She’s still driving, every trip is an adventure and she loves it.
